Help every engineer walk into their interview prepared.

getInterviewed gives engineers a realistic mock interview with an AI interviewer, and an honest verdict on whether they’d pass. We’re a small, fully remote team, and we’re hiring engineers to build it with us.

The interview room you’d be building.

How we work

A small team that
builds the whole product.

There are no separate frontend and backend teams. Every engineer ships whole features, from the schema to the pixel, and works alongside AI coding agents every day: using them well and reviewing their work hard is part of the job.

01

Honest over flattering

Our report tells candidates the truth about their chances. We hold our own work to the same standard, in review and in every plan.

02

Simple, for most people

We never make the product better for 1% of candidates at the cost of the other 99%. Fewer features, each one finished.

03

The best in its category

Not the most features: the product candidates find intuitive, honest and beautiful. We judge what we build on screen, not by whether it rendered.

04

Written down

Decisions, designs and the reasons behind them live in writing, so anyone can pick up any part of the product from anywhere.

What we offer

Your best work,
from wherever you are.

We discuss salary on our first call.

  • Work from anywhere

Fully remote, in any country. We write things down so nobody has to be in the same room.

  • Flexible hours

Work when you do your best work. Most of our work is asynchronous, with a few hours of overlap for calls.

  • Equity

Stock options in the company, so you share in what you help build.

  • Your setup

A laptop and the equipment you need to do your best work, paid for by us.

  • Learning budget

Books, courses and conferences that make you better at the job.

  • Real ownership

A small team means the area you own is really yours, and your work reaches candidates the week you ship it.

How we hire

What to expect.

  1. 1

    Apply

Email your resume and a link to something you built and are proud of, with a few lines on why it’s good.

  2. 2

    A call with a founder

Thirty minutes on what you’ve built, what you want next, and the role, including pay.

  3. 3

    A technical interview

A problem close to our real work, solved together, with the tools you’d use on the job.

  4. 4

    A decision

Within a week of your last conversation, with our reasons either way.

Don’t see your role? Write to us anyway.

If you’d make getInterviewed better, we want to hear from you.
